I just wanted to drop a line to tell you how much we enjoyed the weekend there. You were very accommodating and did everything you could to make the experience enjoyable and believe me it was. I truly loved my time in Maggie Valley. I did not want to leave. It was so relaxing, listening to the little brook running past my cabin, and hearing the birds singing all around. It rained a couple of days, but I was quite content to sit inside or on the porch and read.  I would certainly recommend the resort to others. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. I visited the park on one day and did some hiking, and saw some wildlife, but otherwise I stayed at the cabin and rested, which was what I really needed. -- Rev B. - Baltimore, MD

We just got back last week and it was the refreshing change of pace that we needed. We would not have otherwise planned this trip as we are typically drawn to the beach, but we found that Maggie Valley was surrounded by beautiful mountain views and fun family opportunities. We took day trips to Smoky Mountain National Park, the Cherokee Indian reservation and the Biltmore house. The great Smoky Mountain train ride was the highlight for our son as he continues to ask when we'll go back.
