My fiancé and I visited and stayed with you last Thursday night. I wanted to express our happiness with the stay. Everyone that we encountered was extremely friendly. The cabin was beautifully equipped and the grounds were well cared for. The information packets and guides for the area were helpful. I only wish that we had more time to spend in the area! Bryan & I have been bragging to many of our friends on how much we enjoyed our relaxing stay in the cabin last week. We greatly appreciated your making us feel welcome to the resort and area with so many helpful tips on the local attractions, amenities, but especially just the nature scene. We would have missed out on seeing the gorgeous waterfalls that were right there by us!! The kids were just tickled to have the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi for fun play time right next to a mountain with cold weather outside. I truly loved my time in Maggie Valley. I did not want to leave. It was so relaxing, listening to the little brook running past my cabin, and hearing the birds singing all around. It rained a couple of days, but I was quite content to sit inside or on the porch and read.  I would certainly recommend the resort to others. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. I visited the park on one day and did some hiking, and saw some wildlife, but otherwise I stayed at the cabin and rested, which was what I really needed. -- Rev B. - Baltimore, MD

We just got back last week and it was the refreshing change of pace that we needed. We would not have otherwise planned this trip as we are typically drawn to the beach, but we found that Maggie Valley was surrounded by beautiful mountain views and fun family opportunities. We took day trips to Smoky Mountain National Park, the Cherokee Indian reservation and the Biltmore house. The great Smoky Mountain train ride was the highlight for our son as he continues to ask when we'll go back.
